So, I just finished my last "Taboo!" concert of the summer at Tango Del Rey in San Diego last weekend and it was a blast! Now it's time to get back to my other passion and get back in the studio to put together my next album!
I have some awesome new songs lined up, including some familiar standards and of course a bunch of original songs. If you were at one of my shows this summer you might have heard some of them? Well, my good buddy and songwriting partner, Bob Malone, and I are going to spend the next couple months polishing everything up and hopefully recording soon.
As you know I am an independent artist and my only Marketing/Publicity team is YOU! So, I am also going to be focused on building up my Email List over the next couple months. Facebook and Myspace are awesome, but I really want to have a less "public" and more personal connection with my fans and friends as well.
I have already set up 2 ways of doing this and I'd really love for you to join me on one of these:

--Simply fill in your email address in the "Join The Mailing List" box on the left. This will be a simple direct line for me to be able to send a nicely formatted email to you occasionally with updates on my shows, music, and maybe some contests!
2) Join my own personal social network at Ning.com:
"The Blu Room" - www.thebluroom.ning.com
--This is literally a "social network" I started by myself and it is completely controlled by me! You will never have to deal with spam or randoms or your personal info being used for advertising because it's a completely private membership that only I hold the keys to. I already have a core group of friends on there and we love it! :)
Of course, you can always join me on Facebook (www.facebook.com/jonnyblu) and Myspace (www.myspace.com/jonnyblumusic) 'cause I'm on them everyday!
I hope you'll continue to hang with me on my musical path and I'll keep making music for you for as long as I can!
